Host policy (read-only)
Audience: developers / pack authors only. No auth yet (DEV).
- Governance: answers stay template-driven. No free-form text-to-SQL for production numbers. Edited SQL remains exploratory until definitions/status rules say otherwise.
- Hub model: metrics tagged with
systems[]/domain. PEF is pack #1, not the whole product. - SQL safety: preview/update paths go through
sql_guard(read-only, no multi-statement, catalog allowlist per engine). - Never auto-approve definitions or metrics; status transitions require explicit developer action.
- Builtin vs learned: prefer DB overrides for builtins; never rewrite git files from the UI in v1.
- Executive answers still only via Business MCP tools in Chat — this tab does not bypass the MCP.
Out of scope (v1): ChatGPT plugin UX, Instructions editor, multi-SQL variants, SSO, production auth.
